| Late Mihir Kumar Mukherjee, (Ex) Managing Partner |

Late Mihir Kumar Mukherjee was born in Calcutta on 1st March 1938 to a traditional Bengali family. After passing his school leaving exams, he joined Presidency College, Calcutta, the premier educational institution in India. Mihir's excellance in studying continued unabated throughout with outstanding distinction. He did his post-graduation in Arts & also in Journalism from Calcutta University, again with distinction. He received!! gold medal for scoring record marks in Calcutta University. He was also enrolled as an Advocate of Calcutta High Court.
Mihir joined the University College, London (University of London) for the LLM and then was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1975, by Linclon's Inn.

After a stint in the British Civil Service, he was practising at the independent Bar until 1987, when he got attached to the Tottenham Law Centre.
Last but not the least, Mihir was interviewed during his last visit to India in May 1995 on certain aspects of life where his reaction to certain questions may be of interest:
He was invited by the National Law School of India University Bangalore, to deliver Lectures on Coporate and Investment Lawsin its P.G. Deptt.

TILA is now ably represented by Tonmoy Mukherjee, son of Late Mihir Mukherjee. Born in 1979, he did his LL.B (Hons.) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (University of London) and at present is with Lincoln's Inn.
